Job counts and pay in this guide come from the live listings on this site as of October 28, 2026. They change daily; the linked pages always show today’s numbers.
You want AI training work you can actually apply to from the Philippines, and most listings never say who they want. If you are looking for AI training jobs Philippines residents can apply to, the country line decides it, not the word "Remote". We joined and applied to every platform we list, and we show the eligible countries as each platform publishes them.
TL;DR
- 61 open listings name the Philippines as an eligible country, as of October 28, 2026.
- The median top rate on those 61 is $65/hr, with the highest at $150/hr.
- Every one of the 61 states an hourly rate. Only 4 are beginner-friendly.
- The Philippines roles we can show you right now are on SME Careers.
- "Remote" with no country list is not evidence you can apply.
As of October 28, 2026, we list 61 open AI training jobs Philippines residents can apply to, meaning every one of them names the Philippines as an eligible country.
How many AI training jobs Philippines residents can apply to
Our site has 1,730 open listings right now. Eligibility is the part that trips people up. Of those 1,730, 735 name specific countries, 36 say worldwide, and 959 say only "Remote" with no location stated.
Only the first two groups count as open to you. A listing that says "Remote" and nothing else tells you where the work happens, not who is allowed to do it. That is why 61 is the number that matters for Filipinos, not 1,730, and not the 959.
All 61 name the Philippines explicitly. None of them rely on a "worldwide" tag. You can see them together on our page of jobs open in the Philippines, or browse all open AI training jobs and filter by country yourself.
For context, the Philippines is not among the twelve most-named countries in our listings. The twelfth, Mexico, appears in 64. India is named in 161, second only to the United States, and we wrote a separate guide on AI training jobs in India if you want to see how a larger market looks by comparison.
Which platforms hire from the Philippines
We joined and applied to 14 platforms ourselves, and you can see the full set on our platforms compared side by side page. Our method is on the how we vet platforms page.
The Philippines-eligible roles we can show you today are all on SME Careers, the arm where SuperAnnotate hires subject-matter experts and language specialists. You can read about them at SME Careers.
| Role | Platform | Pay | Countries named |
|---|---|---|---|
| Medical Doctor (Specialist) | SME Careers | up to $150/hr | United States, India, Philippines, Pakistan |
| Radiologist | SME Careers | up to $120/hr | United States, India, Philippines, Pakistan |
| Attorney and Lawyer | SME Careers | up to $120/hr | United States, India, United Kingdom, Philippines |
| Legal Expert | SME Careers | up to $115/hr | United States, India, Philippines, Pakistan |
| Astronomer & Space Scientist | SME Careers | up to $100/hr | United States, India, Philippines, Pakistan |
| Brand & Strategy Expert | SME Careers | up to $85/hr | United States, India, Philippines, Pakistan |
| Advertising Expert | SME Careers | up to $70/hr | United States, India, Philippines, Pakistan |
SME Careers lists the eligible countries on almost every role, which is rare and the reason this table can exist at all. Not every role there includes the Philippines: their Senior Video Editor listing names the United States, India, Canada and Australia only. Read the country line on each one.
How you get in
Apply to a role and fill in your profile. Expect a skills assessment in your subject or language. Passing puts you in the pool for that project, and projects are staffed as work arrives. We cannot tell you how long that takes or what your odds are, because we have no data on either.
What the work pays
All 61 Philippines listings state an hourly rate. As of October 28, 2026, the median top rate is $65/hr. The 10th percentile sits at $30/hr and the 90th percentile at $100/hr, with the highest listing at $150/hr.
Most of those rates are published as a top rate, so read them as "up to". The low end of a project's range is not in the listing, and it is usually lower than the headline figure.
The site-wide median top rate is $75/hr, but that pool includes hundreds of roles that never name the Philippines. The $65/hr figure is the one that applies to you.
Rates are set in USD by the platforms. We make no claims about what that means for local salaries, because day rates, project volume and hours are not something we track. What we can say is that pay varies by field, and comparing a medical rate to a generalist rate tells you nothing useful.
Only 4 of the 61 are beginner-friendly, meaning no degree or specialist experience is required. That is a small fraction, and it shapes who this work suits.
Which fields are hiring
| Field | Open roles naming the Philippines |
|---|---|
| Software & data | 15 |
| Science & engineering | 11 |
| Medicine & health | 9 |
| Finance & business | 8 |
| Generalist | 6 |
| Law & compliance | 5 |
| Languages | 4 |
| Writing & content | 2 |
The specialist fields dominate. If you are a licensed doctor, a lawyer, an engineer or a working developer, you have far more to apply to than a generalist does. You can browse Software & data AI training jobs, Science & engineering AI training jobs and Medicine & health AI training jobs to see the shape of each.
Roles in local languages
Two of the 61 listings name Filipino and two name Tagalog. A further listing names Chinese and one names Malay, so the language field is not purely local. That is the honest count: four roles in the Languages field overall, as of October 28, 2026.
Language team lead roles are worth watching if you are a native speaker with review experience. They sit above entry-level translation work and usually ask you to check other people's output rather than produce your own.
How to tell if a listing is open to you
Run these checks before you spend time on an application.
Check the country line first. If the Philippines is not named, and the listing does not say worldwide, treat it as closed to you. "Remote" alone is not a country.
Check what kind of rate is published. Hourly listings show an hourly figure. Some work is paid per audio clip or per task, and those are never the same thing as an hourly wage, so do not divide one into the other to work out a day rate.
Check whether the figure is a top rate. "Up to $120/hr" means the ceiling, not the offer.
Check the requirements. Only 4 of the 61 Philippines listings are beginner-friendly. If a role asks for a professional licence or years of specialist experience and you do not have either, it is a poor use of an evening.
Check for location restrictions you would have to break to get around. Do not apply from a country you are not in, do not use a second account, and do not misstate where you live. Onboarding checks identity, and an account closed for misrepresentation costs you more than one application.
Getting paid and taxes
Payment methods and payout schedules vary by platform and by country, so read the platform's own payment page before you apply. Tax and visa questions depend on where you live, so check with a local accountant or the relevant agency rather than relying on a guide.
Where to go from here
Start with the Philippines listings we track, which only show roles that name the country. If you want to widen it, read our platforms compared side by side before you spend an evening on applications.
