What a referral link is
Each platform here runs a referral program. When you sign up or apply through my link and get hired, the platform may pay me a reward. The amount and the rules differ by platform. Some pay once you finish a number of paid hours, some once you earn a set amount, and some pay nothing until you’re matched to a project.
What it doesn’t change
- Your pay. The rate is the platform’s, the same as if you’d gone there directly.
- Your chances. A referral doesn’t get you hired and doesn’t hurt you.
- The order of jobs. The list is sorted by date or by pay, never by what I earn.
- What I write. If a platform pays per audio, I say so, even though a bigger hourly number would get more clicks.
Why only these platforms
I list platforms I can refer you to, because that’s what keeps this site running without ads or fees. Some well-known platforms aren’t here for exactly that reason, not because they’re bad. The 10 listed today: Mercor, micro1, SME Careers, AfterQuery, Handshake AI, Turing, Ethos, Babel Audio, Mindrift, Outlier.
Marked links
Referral links on this site carry rel="sponsored", which is how search engines expect paid links to be marked, and every apply button has a line under it saying it’s a referral.
