Mandarin Chinese Speaker – Speech Data Project (Taiwan only, Freelance)

About the Project

We’re looking for native or fluent Traditional Mandarin Chinese speakers based in Taiwan to participate in a speech data project. The project will support the development and improvement of AI speech technologies through language and speech data collection.

There are two potential workstreams, with different tasks and requirements. Candidates may be considered for one or both, depending on their qualifications and project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in speech data collection activities in Traditional Mandarin Chinese (Taiwan).
• Follow project-specific instructions and quality guidelines.
• Provide accurate, consistent speech recordings or other language-related data, depending on the assigned workstream.
• Meet established quality standards and project deadlines.

Requirements

• Native or fluent proficiency in Traditional Mandarin Chinese as spoken in Taiwan.
• Current residence in Taiwan.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Access to a suitable device and a quiet environment for speech recording, if required by the assigned workstream.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this role.
